The name Kantan is inspired by Bunga Kantan (torch ginger flower), a signature ingredient that gives many Malaysian dishes their distinctive aroma and flavour.
Interestingly, “Kantan” (簡単) also means “simple” in Cantonese and Japanese, reflecting our mission to make authentic Asian cooking easier without compromising on taste.
